5-Minute Dairy-Free Ice Cream

Make this dairy-free, egg-free, and refined sugar-free homemade ice cream in your high-speed blender or food processor! It takes only 5 minutes. Serves 2. Easily doubled or tripled depending on size of food processor or blender.

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen fruit
  • 1 to 4 tablespoons dairy-free milk of choice such as coconut milk
  • sweetener to taste (honey, maple syrup, stevia, a few dates, etc.)


  1. Place frozen fruit and sweetener in your food processor or blender. Keep in mind the sweetness of your frozen fruit, and your personal preference. I usually start with 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey OR a few drops of stevia. Some fruits, like bananas, may not need any sweetener at all.
  2. Then process, adding enough milk to keep things moving. Some fruits require more milk than others. Blenders will require more milk than a food processor.
  3. Finally, taste and adjust sweetener if necessary. Enjoy!
