Store-bought yogurt cups are a frivolous expense -- especially the organic ones! It's so easy to have homemade flavored yogurt with a slightly sweet, bright lemon-y tang by adding just 3 ingredients. Here's how!

Lemon Essential Oil Yogurt

Rather than spending money on overpriced, less-than-nutritious, flavored yogurt cups, I've recreated that slightly sweet, bright lemon-y tang by adding a bit of fresh lemon juice and lemon essential oil. And my version contains no added sugar! If I do say so myself, my lemon essential oil yogurt is even BETTER than any flavored yogurt cup in the store. Makes 2 servings.

Instructions

  1. Combine the yogurt, lemon juice, lemon essential oil, and stevia in a bowl.
  2. Stir or whisk until combined.
  3. Taste and adjust the flavors to your liking -- adding a bit more stevia or another drop of lemon essential oil, if desired.
  4. Divide between 2 bowls -- 3/4 cup each.
  5. Top with lemon zest and enjoy!
