"Green" Smoothie

This green smoothie is blended with granny smith apple for a bit of sweetness, and celery, a carrot, cilantro, ginger, and coconut water — the perfect energy booster to get you through the day!

Ingredients

  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 small granny smith apple
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon ginger or to taste
  • cup coconut water

Instructions

  1. Quarter the celery and carrot. 

  2. Cut the apple into eighths, removing the core and seeds. 

  3. Add everything to a blender and blend on high until smooth.

Recipe Notes

This green smoothie doesn't have any dark leafy greens like kale or spinach. If you just can't do without your greens, you can always add spinach pucks to your smoothie!
