Making a turkey shepherd's pie is super easy — no measuring cups required!
Choose a baking dish proportionate to the size of your family and leftovers.
Fill the dish with cooked turkey and vegetables.
If your vegetables were not already seasoned, season to taste with salt, pepper, and herbs -- I personally love summer savory with turkey.
Then spread mashed potato, squash, and/or sweet potato over the top.
If you want to get fancy, you can use a piping bag with a large tip to do this.
