FYI Below the video and flyer is a letter from Wardee, explaining more.

Hi, friend!
My dear friend from college Megan Stevens (from EatBeautiful website), along with her husband and three children, are adopting a 4-year old from Burundi, Africa… Goldie, an orphan who was abandoned at 6 months old.
They began the adoption process 7 years ago… and now it is finally time to travel to Africa to bring her home!
We’ve been blessed to watch the Stevens go through the long process of adopting, along with all the ups and downs. It hasn’t been easy, and has been downright discouraging at times, but they’ve leaned on the Lord and learned so much during this time. Even though they wish it had been faster, I know they don’t regret a single minute because of what God has shown them and how He’s prepared them.
And now it’s time to bring Goldie home!
As you might imagine, adoption is expensive. Their total adoption cost is around $50,000, including travel.
As they make their travel plans, they could use our help.
To raise money to complete the adoption, they’ve partnered with an amazing organization… Both Hands.
Both Hands is special kind of organization! Each fundraiser not only helps the family with adoption costs, friends and family local to the adopting family pitch in and volunteer to serve a local widow, too. You can meet the widow that the Stevens’ are serving in the video or flyer above… Sue.
Since we don’t live near the Stevens (they are in Oregon and we are now in Idaho) and you probably don’t either, you might wonder why I’m writing to you? Well, we volunteered to lead a sponsorship team virtually. To pray and to give financially, as each are able.
That’s where you come in!
Your prayers as well as any financial gifts will go to the Stevens’ adoption and to help Sue, the local widow they are blessing, by fixing up her house and yard… new window, new carpet, new paint, and much more. Watch the video above and it will bring you to tears what Both Hands and the Stevens adoption is able to do for Sue and her children… and Goldie.
Will you help, too?
If you are able to give financially, thank you! Use this link or the buttons above or below to go to the secure donation page.
If you are not able to give financially but are able to pray… please do!
Thank you for reading, and we will be sure to share news about Goldie coming home when we have it!
God bless you!
—Wardee and family
P.S. If you are able to give financially, please know that Both Hands, the organization hosting the fundraiser, does not take ANY portion of what’s given for administration costs. It all goes to the Stevens, and if there is any left over, it goes to a future adoptive family!
