Hi, friend, and thanks for clicking over to read more about the resources I mentioned in my previous email — how I’ve incorporated Movement and De-Stressing in my life as well as identifying my metabolic type so I could eat the right proportions for my metabolism and “release” 9 pounds in a month!
1. I started with this Metabolic Renewal program (click here for more info). I really like it for balancing hormones, rest, movement, and fitness for women. Sorry that if you decide to buy it, the sales process is a bit obnoxious!
2. And here is the book I read on the metabolic types, Turn Up The Heat (click here for more info). In it, the author shows how to read your recent lipid panel (cholesterol, etc.) to determine your metabolic type. He also includes a quiz in case you don’t have recent lab work.
As it’s really new to me, I hesitate saying “this is the answer!” for everyone (which is why I didn’t name it in my email). However, it IS working so far for me. So there’s that endorsement. 🙂
Also if you look at the reviews of the book, you’ll notice a lot of people talking about typos and mistakes and it being outdated. This is all true. However, I feel the fundamental information was really good. I corresponded with the author’s customer service team and they told me the meal plans in the book are out of date. I don’t use them anyway, I make my own meal plans.
3. And finally, the app to count macros is Macros+ (click here for more info). It’s very easy to use!
4. If you’re a premium TCS member, we have daily/weekly accountability for menu planning, fitness, and movement. If you’re not yet a premium member, please use the Help button on this page to send us a message and request a link for complimentary 30 day access.
I hope this helps and that you’ll keep me posted how it goes for you!
