Tip of the Week

Measure sticky honey or sweeteners after first using your measuring cup to measure liquid oils (melted coconut oil or olive oil). Voila! No sticky mess and the honey comes out fast, rather than needing to be scraped and prodded to release its hold. I learned this tip ages ago from my friend Vickilynn Haycraft of Real Food Living. Thanks, Vickilynn! 🙂

She will share her knowledge, recipes, give advice and provide how-to’s on simple & frugal living, living off the land, raising chickens, meat rabbits, milk goats, bees, foraging, gardening, canning, building a smokehouse, greenhouse, & chicken coop, frugal tips, repurposing and utilizing what you have, bulk buying, living traditionally with a special needs child, gluten free and casein free cooking & baking,  homeschooling, hunting, survival tips and so much more. You can follow her wilderness adventures at MountainWomanJournals.com & TammyTrayer.com and her family stores and sites at TrayerWilderness.com and RockingGTDesigns.com.
