Heather’s Daughter’s Teeth

One of the things Heather and I discussed was how her daughter’s tooth decay was reversed through diet. Heather emailed me these three photos that show the healing and transformation. Wow! I’m including Heather’s notes with each, as her words will help you “see” the significance of each photo.

Heather: Here is one that was taken a couple months after Katie’s tooth broke.

Heather: This one was taken quite awhile later. As you can see, her incisors became very porous and brown over time. If you’re looking closely you might also notice her front tooth appears to have partially grown back. This is because despite how bad things look, her teeth had actually begun to heal. I didn’t realize it because I was so focused on the discoloration, though!

Heather: And here she is after the dentist cleaned up the dead outer crust on her incisors. You can see her front teeth are even, and unlike the first picture the right tooth extends below the tooth directly next to it.

Doesn’t she just melt your heart? What a sweetheart, and what a transformation from “weak” teeth to healthy and strong! I love these stories. God is good, and His food is good!

    I need to do this now, but have NO access to raw butter, I live in one the “control” states. What can I do instead? Add more Green Pastures’ butter oil?

    Kimberly — Definitely do the fermented cod liver oil – butter oil blend. And Kerrygold butter is very good – can you get that?

    I’ve had a hard time finding it, but will try again. looked at Whole Foods and could not find it.

      We buy ours through Costco. It isn’t located in the regular butter section but is with the deli cheeses.

    sorry to ask another question, but is there a toothpaste you recommend? I make ours now, but didn’t know if Earthpaste, etc. might be better.

    I was wondering what Heather feels about preschool-aged children who refuse to eat certain healthy foods. My little girl is nearly 3, and she has very strong opinions about food. I’ve given her a lot more latitude than I do her older sisters, primarily because she hasn’t weaned herself yet. I know you have written about allowing children to eat a lot of particular foods that they crave, but does that also include declining foods.
