Sharon Peterson is very in love with her husband Tim, and she's mom of 4 sons, 2 who are grown and away (and she wonders how that ever happened!). Canning and preserving is a part of their frugal and simple lifestyle. A lot of food finds its way into jars in her kitchen. She cans everything from fruits and veggies, to the meat that the guys in her family bring home from hunting camp. She's also moved into dehydrating more this past year and is loving that as well. She truly loves sharing her knowledge through her book Simply Canning: Survival Guide to Safe Home Canning, her site SimplyCanning.com, and her Facebook page has met some wonderful fun people along the way.
