“Hello from Wales! Loving our slow-cooked chicken that I made after seeing your facebook article last week THANKS!! Have been trying to make broth with the left-over bits……1st batch boiled for 24hours, 2nd batch boiled for 24 hours (doesn’t smell as good….)……when I was trying to squeeze as much juice out of the ‘solids’ I realised my flimsy silicone spatula was cutting through the bones, like butter…..looked to me like loads of marrow is now accessible so I’ve mashed up all the bones/stuff and I’m boiling for a third time…..but have a nagging doubt in my mind for some reason….I wonder if this would be something you would do? Do you have any experience of it? Thanks for your time! –Gwerfyl!”

Erika, thank you so very much! I’ve had quite a few patients over the years that came in working a night shift type schedule. The best thing I can tell you is to STOP. Believe me, I’m saying this with love and the best intentions. Often times we work that shift because we feel that there is no other option for us. Nothing can be further from the truth. There’s always a way, it’s just about deciding how important it is to you, knowing it’s even possible in the first place, then walking in the direction as if your intention is already happening.
I have numerous clients who wanted to work with me but I refused until they got off the shift work. It’s just too complicated as far as optimizing their hormones. SO MANY awesome stories about miraculous new positions opening up, receiving new job offers, and more all because people decided to make it happen. I’m speaking so much into this because I’m so passionate about this subject, and I know that sleeping in a fashion that your body was designed for will get you results in your life that nothing else can replace.
