We had a hankering for fruit smoothies this weekend. I got out the local, organic Santa Rosa plums and local blackberries from what I froze last summer. They joined two bananas in the Vita-Mix for a delicious blended treat.
Blackberry-Plum-Banana Smoothie
Place ingredients in Vita-Mix wet container or blender container. Fill with water three-quarters as high as the other contents. Turn on to variable speed 1, increase speed to 10, then flip to HIGH. Blend until smooth.

Ingredients
- 2 bananas ripe
- 2-1/2 cups plums frozen
- 2-1/2 cups blackberries frozen
- 2 tablespoons raw honey
- pure water
Instructions

Now that looks really good. 🙂 We still don’t have a vita-mix and our blender will not smooth out the seeds. My girls would not drink that because of the seeds. You know, Wardee, that would be really good frozen as a freezer pops. 🙂
