Tropical Probiotic Smoothie | Not only is it healthy, this simple smoothie is like vacation in a glass -- picture yourself on a tropical island, lounging under a palm tree, listening to the waves crash against the beaches! | TraditionalCookingSchool.com

I love smoothies! They’re the perfect snack or addition to a breakfast. Given the right ingredients, you can even make an entire meal out of one.

I’m not talking about the smoothies at the smoothie shop in town. While tasty, those generally have the addition of sherbert/sorbet and fruit juice. Other times they have “fruit” flavored powders… so, no thank you! I shudder at the thought of the smoothies I’ve drank before.

My kind of smoothie includes fresh or frozen fruit blended with raw milk, water kefir, coconut milk kefir, and other nutrient-dense foods that combine health and yumminess.

This simple smoothie is like vacation in a glass — picture yourself on a tropical island, lounging under a palm tree, listening to the waves crash against the beaches! 😉

Feel free to experiment with the smoothie and gear it to your personal taste. If you have papaya on hand, add it in! Are you a banana fan? That would fit into a tropical smoothie, too!
