I have a pressure canner that sometimes racks up a lot of shelf time. Can these recipes be adapted for using the canner?

It’s not really recommended, especially if the canner is not stainless steel. We know that people do it but we will not be covering using the canner for pressure cooking in our upcoming pressure cooking eCourse.

I’m coming along a bit late, but so grateful for these wonderful links! I have a 6-qt Fagor stovetop pressure cooker, but have been thinking it might be extra helpful to have an 8-quart electric pressure cooker lately (kids+busy+etc.) Trying now to decide between the Instant Pot and the Go Wise. Know they are both good! Nice to know that I can use a lot of these recipes in the Fagor right away, though. 🙂

Is there any chance someone could translate the Healing Egg Custard recipe into an Instant Pot recipe? I have no idea how to interpret the high setting, psi, and lowest setting directions. I never pressure cooked until the Instant Pot. Thanks.

Gluten free : Made the chicken marsala tonight with stuff I had on hand and it went very well! Substituted 3 4oz cans of organic mushrooms, though I would have preferred fresh. I did not have marsala, so I used Abacela port wine. I used a gluten free flour mix. Also used an organic lentil penne.
